SECURING SCHOOL WITH ALARMS AND MORE
We have started seeing quite a rise in school burglaries with the advent of tablets and other valuable electronic gadgets being introduced into the class rooms. Just recently we secured a school where the criminals had gained access into the building through the roof. Our client was left feeling vulnerable and concerned for the safety of the children.
After consulting with the client, we provided the school with alarms around the perimeter of the property as well as seismic detectors for the safe because this is where many of the valuable items are kept – seismic detectors pick up the types of vibrations given off from drills and other tools used to gain access to safes. We also placed cameras at the various entry points to the school.
The client is now feeling much better about leaving the school overnight and can sleep in the knowledge that the children are safe to focus on lessons during the day!
